Homenaje a Frankie Manning

Hoy ha muerto <a href=”http://www.frankiemanning.com/bio.php” target=”_blank”>Frankie Manning</a>.

Frankie Manning era hasta hoy una leyenda viva del swing en especial del <strong>lindy hop</strong>.Fue muy famoso en la epoca gloriosa del Swing en los años 30 cuando era miembro de la compañia de baile Whitey’s Lindyhoppers. En los años 80 , cuando los bailes del swing renacieron, fue y ha seguido siendo hasta los 80 y pico años, maestro de muchas generaciones de bailarines de lindy hop, compartiendo su pasión por este baile.

Este es mi post homenaje a un gran bailarín y una persona que ha sabido hasta el último momento ponerse al bolsillo por su baile y simpatía  a miles de bailarines de todo el  mundo.

Las Nuevas tecnologías nos permiten ver la energía de estos bailarines. Frankie era el que iba de mecánico.Y no hay truco !
